Equinox a széttört ritmusok specialistája, az Inperspective Records pedig a mostanság choppage névre keresztelt doborientált alstílus zászlóshajója. A '95-'96-os aranykor után a Photek, Source Direct ihlette irányzat reneszánszát éli, az angol szaksajtó és a közönség ódákat zeng a kiadó Technicality néven futó klubestjeiről, ahol a kiadó művészei (Breakage, Paradox, Senses, Fracture & Neptune) mellett rendszeresen fellép a BBC 1XTRA két műsorvezetője Bailey és Flight is.
A '92 óta a drum and bassnek élő Equinox szettjeinek középpontjában természetesen a komplex ritmusok állnak, de hangzásvilágát átszövi a dub, reggae, a soul és a liquid funk.
