Taishan kínai és svéd szülők londoni születésű gyermeke, ma zenészként és stúdiómérnökként dolgozik Angliában, és az ehhez párosuló dj-lét nomád útjait járja. Pár név, akiknek hallgathatóvá faragta zenéit: Stereo MC's, Alabama 3 vagy Thony Thorpe. Saját munkáiban a dub örökérvényű hangulatába finoman ágyaz hip hop, 2step, jazz és techno hatásjegyeket, mely egy koherens középtempós, jól táncolható egésszé áll össze halovány fényben pulzáló tenyere alatt. Zenéinek ganjafüst-mértéke nem véletlenül ragadta meg "testvérének", Freq Nastynak figyelmét, aki azóta is a rasztakucsmájában tart egy Taishan relikviát. Majdnem elfeledtük megemlíteni, hogy ez előbbi nem átallott beválogatni "Dub Hypnosis" című szerzeményét a dubos breaks egyik "alapművének" számító 2002-es Y4K válogatásra.
