Chase & Status (Bingo, BC Presents, Breakbeat Kaos, Renegade Hardware)

A Chase & Status sztori 2004-ben egy remix-szel kezdődött, amelyet a páros a Future Cut '20/20' számából készített a Renegade Hardware számára. Ez olyan jól sikerült, hogy a fiúk sorra bukkantak fel a nevesebbnél nevesebb labeleken, úgymint a Zinc vezette Bingo, a BC Presents vagy Fresh és Adam F Breakbeat Kaos-a, nem beszélve a Renegade Hardware-ről. Remixfelkérésből most sincs hiány, nemrég készítették el Shy FX és Top Cat nagy sikerének, az 'Everyday'-nek átiratát, amely a Digital Soundboy-on lát napvilágot.
Chase & Status azonban sokkal régebb óta forog a drum and bass világában, a fiúk kilenc éve DJ-znek. Szettjeikben igyekeznek a stílus valamennyi irányzatából válogatni, hasonlóképpen gondolkodnak, mint a stúdióban.
Időközben elkészült a Bingo kiadónál Jenna G énekesnő szólóalbuma, amelyről a Chase & Status által írt 'In Love' robbantott talán a legnagyobbat. Emellett ugyanezen a labelen ők mixelték a Bingo Session mixsorozat harmadik albumát is, amely a könnyed, nyári bulihangzást képviseli.
A Chase & Status duót nem lehet egyetlen skatulyába sem beszorítani, hiszen ki tudja mivel jelentkeznek legközelebb. Legyen az zúzós drum and bass (Hood Rat, Iron Fist) vagy liquid funk (Love's Theme) raggás beütésű tört (Duppy Man), garage a Roll Deep-pel (Top Shotta) vagy breakbeat Loopdigga néven, a duó mindig toppon van.
