Pet shop Boys release their brand new single "Miracles" on Parlophone on November 17.

The single was produced by and co-written with Adam F (the hip hop/drum 'n' bass producer of "Kaos") and Dan Fresh (drum 'n' bass producer and DJ). Anne Dudley the Oscar-winning composer and Art of Noise member, arranged and conducted the orchestra. Stuart Crichton then did the final mix.

"Miracles" will be available on two CDs and vinyl 12". The bonus track, "We're the Pet Shop Boys" was originally written and recorded by the New York electro artist My Robot Friend on his album "Hot Action!" as an homage to Pet Shop Boys, who then decided to record their own version of it because, according to Neil Tennant, "it sums us up". The other new bonus song, "Transparent", is a Kraftwerkesque track recorded during the sessions for Pet Shop Boys last album, "Release".

Remixes of "Miracles" are by Lemon Jelly and Eric Prydz. There is also an extended mix by Stuart Crichton.

The video for the track has been directed by Howard Greenhalgh.

"Miracles" is one of two new tracks on Pet Shop Boys' forthcoming "PopArt" double CD. "PopArt", a collection of all the Pet Shop Boys' Top 20 hits, is released on November 24. A limited edition set also features a third CD, "Mix", Pet Shop Boys' own selection of their favourite remixes of their songs.

i played neil - the singer (yeh, the gay one ;]) floodlight, and they thought it was wicked, ill never quite be able to get the image out of my mind of neil reciting 'totally' in his northern accent and then giggling to himself.

Sztem semmi baj ezzel. Éppen ellenkezőleg: ne kezdjünk már követ dobálni azért mert egy producer kipróbálja magát más területen is?

Ez a nagyon öntudatod gimnazista "ne áruljuk el a mi ándergáundunkat" mentalitás, lefikázni egy producert mert nyit a kommersz felé.

Arról nem is beszélve h. Fresh még őszinte is: zenéből él, ha megfizetik és érdekes kaland az egész, hát miért ne csinálja! Én kívánics vagyok milyen lesz!

És hajrá, remélem sok hasonló "átfolyást" látunk majd még!
