Knifehandchop is Billy Pollard from Toronto, Canada. He’s 23 now and has been programming electronic beats since he was 18.
Music released by knifehandchop is hard to describe because of the huge variety of influences and styles he displays which makes each release refreshing and different from the last.

He displays elements of ragga, techno, hardcore, hip-hop and electro but without it ever feeling out of place in the mix. When he plays live, he focuses mostly on the most dancefloor-killing material he has, to try to turn any bar or club into a full-on rave.

His music is released on vinyl and CD on a variety of labels with the main labels being Tigerbeat6 records from Oakland http://www.tigerbeat6.com/) and Irritant Records from London (http://www.irritantrecords.com/).

In the past two years he has released full length CDs on each of the two labels; “Bling the Noize” on Irritant and “Rockstopper” on Tigerbeat6. To promote these albums he did a 30-date tour of Europe and Japan last year. When he was in London, he also did a Peel session on BBC radio one.

Upcoming knifehandchop releases on Tigerbeat6 include a 12” called “the triple threat” in April and a full length CD album due out in late summer. Also a split 12” with knifehandchop/Panacea will be released in June on the “ad noiseam” record label.

Szombatig egy kis lelki rákészülésnek, a gabber.kingdom.hu fórumából:

A detroiti Park City filmzenei fesztiválon aranyérmes lett a "Delivered, Guaranteed, Confidential" című kisfilm. A film zenéjét a Low Res Records - egyik legismertebb breakcore kiadó - zenészei készítették, név szerint: Abelcain, Cdatakill, Adjust, Bombardier, Davros, Gr3yman és I:gor. A filmben nem csak zenei aláfestésként jelenik meg az extrém tört hardcore: a főszereplő breakcore hallgatás közben gyilkolássza áldozatait!
