A Dashcraft két személyt (Bernáth Tamás aka Eks és Vasas Béla aka Nihilant) takar. A kezdetek kezdetén gabbert és hardcore technot (Thunderdome és Terrordrome válogatásokat) hallgatnak. Egymással az interneten, az Atomcsapás oldalon ismerkednek össze. Kiderül, hogy mindketten vajdaságiak (Eks magyarkanizsai, míg Nihilant zentai), és mivel a két város nincs túl messze egymástól, személyesen is tudnak találkozni. Közös pesti partizásokat követően barátokká válnak, és más HC-t kedvelő emberekkel is összeismerkednek.

Eks 1997 óta készít zenéket, mégis az első hardcore-t csak 1999-ben gyártja meg. Akkoriban a legendás Fast Tracker 2-őt (a korszak legkedveltebb zeneíró programja) használja. Később cimborájával, Cj Kiddel megalapítják a Da Nite Terror Dwarvez formációt, hogy stílusok között utazgatva (a new style-tól a speedcore-ig) zenéket írjanak. Az első és csupán homemade albumuk a ”Lite In The Nite”. A United Speedcore Nation Records tagjai lesznek, és pár zenéjük megjelenik a Hate System kompilációin. Az USN végével 2002-ben Eks hihetetlen sebességű és kaotikus zenéket ír, Cj Kid pedig abbahagyja a producerkedést, ami a Da Nite Terror Dwarvez végét, illetve a Dashcraft és egy sokkal minőségibb korszak születését jelenteti.

Eks és Nihilant első zenéje a ”Para Bellum” (Nihilant aka The Nasty néminemű vokáljával). Dashcraft név alatt futó eslő produkciójuk a ”Nuclear War” , ami talán sokkal komolyabb már, mint a korábbi munkák. A ”Plain Execution” , amit Eks DNTD név alatt ír, megjelenik a svájci Masch Records Terrortraxx II című kompilációján. Ezt követően a Mascha weboldalra kikerül pár trackjük. Manapság a Dashcraft a Braindestruction Records (Németország) és a Cerebral Destruction - Shit And Noise Art Records (Olaszország) tagja.
