CEEPHAX ACID CREW :

Ceephax Acid Crew is the revered moniker of Andy Jenkinson, brother of the all mighty Squarepusher and protégé of DMX Krew and his Breakin' imprint. A massive talent encompassing an old school acid sensibility crossed with the energy and innovation of Rephlex's "Universal Indicator" series, plus a melodic and moody experimental side that is revealed in his mellower moments. A true original. Andy brings an unique liveset, raving up the masses into an acid frenzy that delights with a nostalgic edge and a total dedication to the dancefloor.

-'My favourite artist at the moment is Ceephax Acid Crew. It's Andy Jenkinson, Tom Jenkinson's brother. Its fucking wicked. It's funny because if people ask me 'So, who's going to be the next big star of electronic music?', I always say him. I'm his biggest fan and I'm always raving upfront at all his gigs.' -Richard D.James -- Aphex Twin.-

-“It¹s a timeless album of electronic music which is destined to become a classic in the vein of Squarepusher's 'Feed Me Weird Things' or Aphex Twin's 'Selected Ambient Works'.” -Lumin about his Exidy tours album—

LINE 47 :

Since 1994 Scott Weber has been creating music. Beginning in an experimental noise/post-rock band, Mrs. Frisbee, in which he was the percussionist. While in this band Scott developed as a musician and began to create solo noise projects built on electronics and found sounds. When Mrs. Frisbee fell apart in 1996 due to changing interests, he began composing and arranging these solo noise projects exclusively utilizing old record players, self-made tape loops, and records that contained lock grooves etched with a razor blade. With these crude abstract concertos he began a journey into the realm of experimental electronica.

In 1998 he put down the record players and tape loops and began using his college roommate’s desktop computer to manipulate sounds with Fasttracker 2 alongside many different types of freeware audio synthesis applications. This brought about a new love for Scott, the tracker program, and his first recorded electronic material, the self-titled CD-R “Line 47″. This album contained some tape/record loop projects as well as industrial/electro endeavors which soon became more intricate and complex. As time passed, Line 47’s style adapted and with heavy jungle influences as well as blippy nintendo-esque melodies.

Once he refined his sound Scott met Lynn Standafer, (Enduser), and instantly made a connection with him that sparked the Sonicterror Label in 2000. Sonicterror quickly got recognition as one of the top Jungle/Breakcore/Drill n bass labels coming out of the United States. With Scott leading the label they quickly released highly acclaimed albums and began to get attention from other labels and producers interested in working with Sonicterror.

In 2004 Sonicterror was disbanded as Scott became interested in other genres of electronic music besides Jungle and Breakcore. This resulted in the Creation of Terminal Dusk, a label that was not focused on specific genres of electronic music but one that embraced such genres as Dub, Ragga, Electro and Gabber to name a few.

Terminal Dusk took off and expanded right where Sonicterror left off with a great artist roster that included Soundmurderer, Doormouse, Eight Frozen Modules, Not Breathing, Enduser, The Gasman and many others. Terminal Dusk is set to release many records in many different genres helping open the ears of electronica fans to new sounds.

While Scott has been involved some of his own labels, his time for creating and releasing music has dwindled and he is always looking to increase his time for writing tracks. Despite never having a full length release many labels have been interested in getting a track or two from him for a compilation or remix effort. Labels such as Ad Noiseam, Mirex, Peace Off and Break n Cut have made a home for Line 47 material.

Currently, Scott is dabbling in many different genres from breakcore, gabber, dub, raga, electro and drillnbass. This wide spectrum of sounds keeps his sounds fresh and sharp and allows him to experiment with blending genres together in new ways and ever searchings for that Line 47 sound.

For some Line47 sounds check www.myspace.com/line47

X&TRICK :

X&trick started organising nights and dj’ing in 1998. Soon he was invited to play on other parties in Belgium and his first steps into Europe came a few laters. At that time he was getting more and more into his own productions and his first tunes were made. He started playing more abroad in 2003 after being invited for a Swiss tour and playing on the first ‘Nuits Sonores’ festival in Lyon, where he shared the stage with people like Alec Empire, Pan Sonic and Jimi Tenor…

In 2004 ‘Bug Klinik Records’ was born, his own label where he released an ep by Yee-king, and in june 2004 X&trick’s first ep ‘Forever’ was released. This debut ep got well received by international press and scene, so X&trick started to play livesets in a tight shedule (more then 30 gigs in 6 different countries between september and New Years eve 2005).

His music can be described as a mixture of various kinds of contemperary dance music. Jungle, DrumNBass, Electronica, Techno, Breakcore and Hardcore are all music styles which seem to get blended in his fresh cocktail of beats and melodies..An energectic live act which seems to get the move in every dancefloor!

He appaered on compilations with the likes of Funkarma, Lester Lewitt, Xanopticon, Noize Creator..

Did remixes for Puzzling Records and Bee Records, and is currently working on new ep’s for Suburban Trash Industries, Bee Records and Bug Klinik.

For some X&trick sounds check www.myspace.com/xntrick

RUSUDEN :

Rusuden is the electronic alias of Justin Morgan. Originally a member of various indie rock projects, a passing interest in electronic music soon became a passion, and by 1999 Morgan was performing regularly as Rusuden. His music has been described as beautiful melodies carved within complex hip-hop-infused beat structures, reflecting on classic electronic themes. “Blending many different styles together into his own form of robotic-yet-beautiful electronica”, Justin channels his energy for striking just the right nerve. His music can be heard on the following labels: Sonicterror, Terminal Dusk, Skam, Unschooled & Soho Six.

Cock Rock Disco 2006 Compilation

http://www.cockrockdisco.com/free.zip
Free compilation to download and enjoy. Comes as a bundled Mp3 album complete with 2 different printable covers. Tell your friends!

Total run time: 57:02

1. Food For Animals - Elephants 01:45
This duo from Washington DC deliver like few others, with an unstoppable combination of hardcore hip-hop vocals over adventurous beats liberally sprinkled with crazy noise, sort of like listening to '89 era hip-hop through Mudhoney's broken bass amp. They are already turning heads across Europe, so expect them to blow up all over when the album drops.
Debut album projected for Fall, 2006

2. About - Think Niles Drink 03:32
Maybe one of the freshest new voices in Indy/pop/electronic music today, Amsterdam's About brings an amazing debut album that catches you instantly and tortures you with memorable pop hooks. He is currently blazing a trail of critically lauded shows in Europe and I'm not sure if he wants to even go home.
"Bongo" projected early March, 2006

3. Duran Duran Duran - Ralez 04:27
Last year Philadelphia's Duran Duran Duran surprised and amused many in the press for his bold album cover and moniker, but gained a huge number of fans worldwide for his kick-ass Breakcore sound. We know some ladies who are already crossing their legs in anticipation of his new album.
New album projected September 2006

4. Dev/Null - Goblin 03:57
Boston's Dev/Null is probably one of the most demanding and most innovative figures in electronic music today. He has basically been working for years on unreleased tracks that have garnered him a huge following online, winning him a headlining spot at the closing party for last years prestigious ARS Electronica. He's be finally releasing his first full-length in the early spring, and we expect it to literally change all the rules, again.
Debut album projected March 2006

5. Next Life - Red Stone 02:02
Basically you are already a massive fan of Next Life and don't even know it yet. This duo from Oslo, Norway brings you an intense sound we can only call gameboy deathmetal. They are already winning die-hard fans all over Europe and Scandinavia for their jaw dropping performances. Their debut album is our first release for 2006 and it contains not only 14 amazing tracks, but also a live video of them in action.
"Electronic Violence" out February 2006

6. Stunt Rock - I've Really Lost It Because This Shit Is Starting To Sound Like Washed-Up, Half-Assed Fatboy Slim Ripoff With A Twelve Year Old's Sense Of Humor. 01:50
Living very literally in a shack outside of Chicago, Stunt Rock is part performance artist, part insult comic. His raunchy sample-rock has been winning fans from truck stops to Entertainment Weekly and his stand-up routine really kills 'em in the casinos!
"This Is Stunt Rock Vol. 3" released October 2005

7. Slepcy - With Charles Bukowski On The Ride 05:23
Poland's Slepcy have been known in the past for their unrelenting brutal noise assaults, but now they have invented a new style of electronic music that we just don't know how to define. Some tracks drift towards synth-pop and others towards Breakcore noise, but their country stomper here shows how hard it is to define what the hell they are doing.
"We Are The Newest Battle Models" projected May 2006

8. Audiogarde - Mardi Gras 04:27
More like a man and a half, Oslo's Audiogarde is half italio-disco hit machine, half troubadour, and half techno rocker. He's invented this entirely new but thoroughly retro sound that will surely be featured in every teen magazine from Stockholm to Vancouver. This album has been a long time in the making but we promise you'll be addicted to it like high quality chocolate.
Debut album projected Summer 2006

9. Don Augusto - The House Denominator Factor 02:53
Don Augusto is from Santiago, Chile and he could possibly be the surprise techno hit of 2006. His album is like a video game where you try to blow up parties with nitroglycerin. In fact the album itself is actually even structured like a video game, but this one actually invites girls to party.
"Fun, Love, and Computers" projected March/April 2006

10. Drumcorps - Saddest 01:17
After releasing a 10" on Bong Ra's new Kriss label, Drumcorps (aka Aaron Spectre, now in Berlin) has really turned heads in both the breakcore and grindcore scenes. Honestly, he's making probably the most insane metal mashup that exists today. It's actually legit enough for metal fans and electronic enough for Breakcore fans, and if you aren't into either of those genres, then know this, it's hard as fuck!!!
Debut album projected May 2006

11. Vorpal - Gymnopedie_v1.01 03:17
Montreal's Vorpal is another of our artists who makes baffling, unique music that is very hard to define. Maybe it's fast, maybe it's slow, maybe it's heavy, maybe it's amazingly light, maybe it's antiqued, who knows. But we do know that it very maybe is really, really new. Here's his take on an old standard.
"An Incomplete guide to VORPAL music" released August 2005

12. Terminal 11 - Counter Clockwise Chant Pattern 03:41
There's the possible and then there's the impossible. Phoenix native Terminal 11 makes the impossible every day. His debut album begat overexcited fans dedicated to his matchless style and uncharted technical achievements. Why this guy isn't being cloned or sent to the moon we'll never know.
"Illegal Nervous Habits" released March 2005

13. Doormouse - Dizzay 03:14
When he's not hanging on the beach in Miami, Doormouse is owner/operator of the notorious Addict records. He's been making music since he was a kid and he practically invented Breakcore; now, he's taking it to the next level with this big band/swing hurricane.
"Xylophone Jism" released April 2005

14. Pisstank - Punching Your Girlfriend's Cunt 'Til It Bleeds 04:49
Pisstank has been fueling the London underground with breakthrough albums for years with his label Irritant Records and before that disturbing many a fragile ego with his brash hardcore noise hi-jinks. Now he's back and ready to party.
EP 12" projected late Spring 2006

15. The Assdroids - Stravinsky's "Rite Of Spring" Cover Song (Rehearsal Version) 10:31
We know it's hard to conceive, but these newest Berlin expats are a super-intense jam-noise-rock duo equally inspired by thrash, contemporary composition, gameboys, and ethnographic music. Here they show you their "cover" of Stravinsky's Rite Of Spring. We can't believe it either.
Debut album projected Summer 2006
