Anti-Pop Consortium, Atari Teenage Riot, Beastie Boys, Einstürzende Neubauten, El-P, Mobb Deep, Public Enemy, Slayer, Wu Tang Clan - és ez csak néhány név azok közül, akikkel megpróbálták körülírni/összehasonlítani a Food For Animals zenéjét. Nem rossz egy szakadt hippi kinézetű rappertől és egy szakállas, szemüveges dj/producertől, akik csupán 2003 óta dolgoznak együtt. E röpke három év alatt MC Vulture Voltaire és Ricky Rabbit nagy respektet szerzett az amerikai IDM-hiphop underground színtéren, Scavenger című bemutatkozó albumukkal kivívták a megmondó-média egyhangú dicséretét a Wire-től a Pitchforkig. Vastagon egymásra hordott, zajjal összetapasztott hangminta-lom halmokból építkező, szétesettségében is elementáris zene és idézetektől hemzsegő, erősen politikus, filozofikus, lehengerlő szövegek - a digitális guberátor és a kultúr-keselyű washingtoni duójára nem véletlenül csapott le a lopofónia 21. századi nagymestere, Jason Forrest.

nekem egy kicsit rövid volt ez a kb félórás produkció, de az legalább jó volt... és bobakromék se nyomták valami sokáig, az is volt vagy félóra...

nos ... hát elég sokan ácsorogtak a pult előtt abban bízva, hogy történni fog valami ... én végig abban bízztam , hogy a keverőbe (amire rádugtam a felvételt és persze szarrávezérelve csak egy torz mocsok jött ki) csak a zene megy, és a mikrofon, csak a színpadi keverőbe van dugva .. most ahogy hallgatom meg kell állapítsam, nem így történt ... mégsem instrumentális :-(

na mindegy ... annyira jó volt tényleg az este, hogy taliztam a barikkal és láttam végre a csacsacsát ... feljegyeztem ... ha lehet máskor kihagynám :-)

felvételt minnyá felszórom....
