You live in New Zealand and Austria alternately. How come?
-Keeps things interesting (and warm). But I am in Austria most of the year and Evan is in New Zealand most of the year
How did you get into drum & bass?
-Went to an outdoor party, heard it and loved it! Then started going to check it all the time (and a good friend of mine was one of the original jungle DJs in NZ) and then started making it
When did you start playing breakbeat / jungle?
-About six years ago
Where was your first DJ appearance?
-At an underground club in Auckland. My second was in front of about 3000 people at a festival, I was nervous as hell!
How did you guys meet up?
-We went to school together when we were 11 years old and have been making music together off and on ever since
When was your golden era of drum & bass?
-98ish. Now is pretty good too sometimes. :-)
Who have you released records for?
-Uprising, Metalheadz, Ram, Timeless, Renegade Hardware, Moving Shadow, Hospital, Freak, Exit, Commercial Suicide among others
Which are your musical inspirations?
-Failure, Year of the Rabbit, Pantera, Faith No More, Coltrane and paying the rent ;-)
How do you describe your own sound / the sound that you produce?
-Dark musical drum and bass
How is work divided in the studio?
-Pretty randomly. It depends on who has got an idea or vibe at the time and who’s awake
Which track have you written that you are most happy with? Why?
-None of them. There’s no such thing as a finished track
What can people expect from your sets?
-Some dark musical drum and bass, a handsome DJ and a whole lot more. Usually some of our tunes that people know, some other peoples tunes that people may or may not know and some brand spanking new DNB goodness

-Couldnt pick one, that wouldnt be fair now would it? Though big day out in Auckland is always nuts!
Word is that youre working on a new album. What can you tell us about that?
-Well we are pretty much always working on something these days. Since we finished chaos by design; we have had a little bit of a break and been gigging but now its time to put our heads down and work on album number 5 I guess
Are there any other projects in the pipeline?
-A few collaborations we should get around to but there is not too much time for much else

Hmm, tricky question! I dont know if there is just one I could think of to be honest. Maybe "return to forever"
How do you like the D&B vibe over here in Switzerland?
-Havent been to Switzerland yet. But Evan has been before and said it was wicked. Maybe one day I can come for myself and try my terrible German on people

If someone asks me to then yeah. Evan got to go last time so its my turn now
