SLG

SLG is Lukasz Seliga - an electronic music producer and performer from Lodz, Poland.
Hewas producing electronic from his early teenage years, but he neverattempted to be a DJ, so he focused on performing live sets and overpast few years he gained respect as a one of top minimal-technoperformers in Polish undeground. He devoloped his unique style, blending raw minimal techno, funky grooves, and glitch/IDM inspiredsound design.
He tries to avoid monotony and to translate diferentmoods into language of music, but at the same time to keep his stylehomogenic.
Last year he released his first 12"s - first there was asplit EP with his friends 3 channels on Trenton records, then firstfull 12" - "Quarter Past Eleven" on Level Records. The record wascharted at 21st postion of Groove Top 50 and reviewed as "excitinglyfresh interpretation of deep minimal-house and charted by many famousDJ's ( Dominik Eulberg pointed the track "Anymore" as one of his top 10tracks of 2005 ).
This summer he has signed to Cologne's famous Trapez label, which released his new EP - "Nine hours".
Itshows a bit different side of his music than his earlier work on level. The two tracks are much stronger, dancefloor oriented, combiningclassic Detroit-esque grooves with modern sound-design and focus ondetail.
In autumn 2006, his next releases are scheduled - second oneon Trapez and an EP for a new polish label - Channels rec. ( founded byhis friends, up-and-coming polish duo 3 Channels ). He is also workingon a couple of remixes and new tunes for Level rec. and Mike Shannon'slabel - Cynosure.

3Channels

3Channels are Deeop (Grzegorz Demianczuk) and Ketiov (WojciechTaranczuk). Their acquaintance began in 2003 when Ketiov started tospin his first records in clubs like Sonar and Taras Caffe and Deeopwas already widely known for his enormous records collection andparticipation in every party in the city of Stettin.
In late 2003they organized their first mutual party at Mezzoforte club, whichappeared to be a huge success. Logically the became resident dj'sthere, which gave them a chance to organize their own parties simplynamed "Electronic House". The idea was to promote new dance musiccompletely different from what was played in most of the polish clubsat the time. The "Electronic House" parties had the privilege towelcome such people as: Tom Clark, Dub Taylor, John Tejada, AntonelliElectr, Wighnomy Brothers, Todd Bodine, Matthias Tanzmann and Duplex100.
In September 2003 they broadcasted their first radio showcalled "Session" at the local ABC Radio alongside with their old mateVitek. After a year "Session" evolved into the 3 Channels project.Later the radio show was broadcasted under the name of "Plastelina" andcould be heard ever Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm. "Plastelina" has nosound limits and has one goal, which is to promote modern electronicmusic from down tempo to electronic, tech-house or techno music.
Afterhalf a year of co-operation with Votchik 3 channels decided to starproducing... They released their 2 first records on Trenton ("Split EP"and "Superficial") then followed by 1 EP on each Trapez and CrosstownRebel which showed a more minimal side of their work!
All thesereleases showed that 3 Channels could be versatile artists andcollected a lot of good reviews all over the world on medias like BBCor the popular Anjas Schneider's radio show "Dance Under The BlueMoon"... They are now starting to do remixes for people such as JacekSienkiewicz, Maetrik, Richard Bartz, Codec'n Flexor and are releasingnew productions on labels like Trenton, Crosstown Rebels, Trapez andResopal.
3 Channels will soon start to play live and will launch their own label called Channels.
