Vicarious Bliss (Ed Banger)

An englishman in Paris - ez Vicarious Bliss, ha a sláger ferdítésével szeretnénk jellemezni. A langaléta, vörös Andy Gardinier a francia electrohuligánok között találta meg igazi helyét, a Daft Punk menedzser Busy P által vezetett Ed Banger kiadónál.
Az iszákos electró perpillanat legmenőbb kiadójának számító Ed Banger harmadik megjelenése egyből egy Vicarious Bliss EP lett, Andy jó brit lévén az indiesebb vonalat és a sokáig szégyellt, de a 21. században feloldozást nyert '80-as évek melódiáit képviseli a csapaton belül.
A slágerlistákat is megmászó Theme From... EP címadóját és ennek digitálbasszus Justice és szuperpumpa Lifelike remixét szétjátszotta a 2 many DJs, Boris Dlugosh vagy éppen Erol Alkan.
Vicarious Bliss, mint az Ed Banger többi tagja, remixerként is keresett. Olyan arcoktól érkezett felkérés, mint a N*E*R*D, a Ladytron, Kid Loco, a Mystery Jets, a Rinocerose vagy az electrotárs Yuksek és Sebastien Tellier, de a Diasy Daisy átirat 'Michelle Plays Ping Pong' is imádnivaló. Saját dolgai mellett az Air kiadójához szerződtetett I Love UFO zenekar debütáló albumának produceri munkálatait is elvállalta.
Másik húzása a Headbangirl kisasszonnyal közös Le Vicarious Bliss Pop Experience featuring Headbangirl, amely még erősebb '80-as évekbeli hatásokkal bír, követve a legszebb Giorgio Moroder hagyományokat erősen cukormázas köntösben. Mindez a Radio 1 műsorvezető/DJ Rob Da Bank kiadóján, a Sunday Best-en.
