Aaron Jay

Formally known as Switch, Aaron Jay started off DJing in 1997. Taking inspiration from artists such as; Calibre, DJ Shadow, Carl Craig, Fabio, Miles Davis and early rare groove and soul. His early years were spent going to raves in London and attending Goldie's legendary Metalheadz night at the Blue Note. 2002 saw Aaron Jay playing at Bryan G's internationally acclaimed mid-weeker Movement. Warming up the bar for two years led to gigs at Herbal for Hospital Records and playing in the up-and-coming talent rooms at One Nation at Brixton Academy. In early 2004, Groove Connection made contact and asked him to play at Swerve at The END. Three years on, Aaron Jay has found his home at Fabio's night, Swerve, playing every month to the dub hungry punters who like their rhythms soulful and funky. To support this, Aaron Jay joined the books of premier DJ agency Groove Connection, joining an A-List roster that includes Drum and Bass Pioneers and Radio1 DJ's, Fabio and Grooverider. Regularly throwing in Detroit techno, Dub, Jazz and Rare Groove inspired Drum and Bass, supporting everyone from Bryan G, Influx UK, Die, Grooverider, Flight, Total Science, Bailey, Makoto, Blame, Storm, Commix, Ray Keith, The Insiders and of course Fabio to name but a few. Federico Agreda, also known as Zardonic, is a producer and DJ from Barquisimeto, Venezuela, mainly focusing in Drum & Bass and his subgenres, but also experimenting with psy-trance, hardcore / gabber, industrial music, breakcore, mixed with latin rhythm patterns, ethnic venezuelan sounds, mostly influenced by the sound of metal from the most mellow to the most desperating forms of it.

In a beginning, his name was known under the alias of Gorepriest, which he used for his Ambient / Black Metal works. His first album was distributed by Melomaniac Metalmedia Records, the most important extreme metal distro in Venezuela. http://www.melomaniac.com.ve, he also has a variety of parallel projects such as Blackholepit or Intimus Universum.

Paul T’s involvement in the electronic music scene began during 1990 at a time when the UK club and rave scene was at it’s prime. He regularly attended clubs. Seduction, Orange & Reincarnation to name few, and this led to his developing interest in DJ’ing. Then in 1993, he started DJ’ing with the Conflict agency, and it was around this period that he collaborated on productions with JD Cruz and Rachele Wallace of Suburban Bass Records. His ongoing interest in production also led to working with re-known drum and bass producer, Adam F. With the aim of extending his musical knowledge, Paul T went back to his instrumental roots and started to play the piano again. This helped in developing his music writing skills and also led to teaching himself to play the bass guitar. It was during this time that he performed regularly with various bands around London. His extensive experience in the band scene allowed him to delve into styles that ranged from trip hop, to dub to experimental. After a brief spell away from writing drum and bass, Paul T returned to the scene to work with dnb duo, TKO. The ongoing collaboration with TKO led to A 12 inch release on Underconstruction Records, a The TKO collaboration led to the development of the independent label, Built 2 Last records, which to date has had two releases Paul T and TKO, and the other featuring Electro Soul System. Paul T is currently working on collaborations with South London producers Chris Inperspective and Survival. His most recent signings are to Phuzion Records,Spearhead Records,Inperspective Records and Directors Cut....Djs lending support to his sound are..Dbridge,Survival,Sabre,Ltj Bukem,Chris Inperspective and many more... Anita Emor, otherwise known as Lady Free, is a vocalist with a style so unique she can be hard to categorise, but this works to her advantage and has secured her place at the forefront of some wicked nights and tracks. Born in Australia, of Indonesian origin, Lady Free was introduced to the drum and bass scene in London after freestylin with DJ Merlyn and the drum and bass crew who named her in 2000 - Future Thinkin. This led to featuring at Futurism raves and on Origin FM. Lady Free then started weekly parties with DJ Merlyn at the Liquid Bar in Shoreditch. It was here that she met, DJ Ron, and became involved in the formation of dna recordings. Adding to her creative contribution to the dna crew, Lady Free's vocals appear on dna's first track by DJ Ron, "Touch the Sky." Lady Free's passion for rhythm and beats encouraged her to develop her individual style. After forging contact with various crews in the East End, she branched out into Hip Hop, Breaks, House and Soul. At the end of 2003, she teamed up with DJ Quantize for a play-off at the Pool Bar in East London. The duo were invited to start their own night, Drum Club, which ran successfully for 18 months with dnb buddy, DJ Shine, adding to the crew. Drum Club then became an avenue for one-off unique dnb events, beginning with their boat party in late June, 2005, where she hosted alongside Digital, Flight & Ron. Lady Free has played in Russia, Poland, Holland, Berlin, Malaysia, Canada & Italy. On her trips back to her home town Perth, she regularly links up with the Roller crew (Dart, Kent and Devo). In 2004/2005 Lady Free shared a sound studio with Ron and Quantize in east London. It was during this period where she began working with Paul T on his tracks with TKO, "The Flow" (Abstract); "Feeling" and "Forward Thinking" on Under Construction. Free has recently been on tour with Nookie for his Beyond Blue Album Tour and is featured on his recent album, Beyond Blue. She still continues to work with Quantize and Paul T on a live and recorded basis. Free is represented by Nookie's Strictly Digital artist agency (www.strictly-digital.com).
