Az elmúlt években James Holden olyan hírnévre tett szert az elektronikus zenei szcénában, hogy arról a legtöbb producer és dj csak álmodhat. Ezen persze nem csodálkozhatunk, hiszen egyedi, eklektikus szerzeményeivel igen magasra tette a mércét.
A fiatal James először a zongorán és a hegedűn keresztül került kapcsolatba a zenével, de figyelme hamar az elektronika felé fordult. Az Oxford Egyetem matematika szakának hallgatójaként írta meg első slágerét, a "Horizons"-t, amelyet a Mixmag minden idők 100 legnagyobb dance slágere közé választott.
A széleskörű ismeretséget azonban egyértelműen a 2003-ban útnak indított kiadója, a Border Community hozta meg számára, melynek első megjelenésére, a saját maga által jegyzett Break In The Clouds-ra az egész német minimal szcéna felkapta a fejét.
Itt jelent meg 2006-ban az Idiots Are Winning is, melyet a The Guardian a Boards Of Canada első lemeze óta megjelent legjobb debüt albumként jellemzett.
Holdent remixerként is a legjobbak között van, ki ne emlékezne például a The Sky Was Pink az eredetit is szinte felülmúló átdolgozására, de már készített remixet többek között a Depeche Modenak, Madonnának, Four Tetnek vagy a New Ordernek is.
Kiadójánál olyan előadókat indított útjára, mint pl. az Extrawelt, Nathan Fake, Fairmont, Ricardo Tobar vagy Petter, közülük csapatunk közreműködésével a magyar közönség is többeket meghallgathatott.

Újra megnyílt Európa légtere

A mai napon újra beindult az európai légi forgalom, már Heathrow-ról is megérkeztek az első járatok. Így mi is leállhatunk teleport gépünk kísérleteivel és James Holden eredeti terv szerint érkezhet pénteken a Ferihegyre. James saját bevallása szerint ezek után még jobban várja Citadellás fellépését, melyre 3 órás szettel készül. Ha sietsz, még elcsípheted az utolsó kedezményes elővételes jegyek egyikét a Merlinben és az Akt Records hanglemez boltban.
