épp a The Besnad Lakes új albuma megy, egész jó, bár csak néha állatijó... hárdkór indie szerelmeseknek megérhet pár kattintást.
újak közül a GYNGS szintén ropogós albuma az, ami pörög, annak inkább érdemes utánanézni (az idióta név ellenére is). Az egész albumot 69bpm-en jammelték össze ilyen-olyan vendégfellépőkkel. Mindenesetre jó hangulata van.
Ezen kívül három kedvencemtől, a Tenniscoats-tól, a Land of Talk-tól és a Megafaun-tól ajánlanék egy-egy vimeo-s videot, amik tulajdonképpen ugyanannak a sorozatnak az egyes részei. A sorozat lényege (Take Away Show), hogy előadókat relatíve random helyen, a szabadban felveszik ahogy egy-egy zenéjüket játszva (értelemszerűen akusztikus dolgokról van szó). Egyik-másik video hihietetlenül jól átadja ezt a hippi-folk attitűdöt : D

nemrég láttam őket, borzasztó erős (és hangos) élőben
Alexis Krauss egy őrült, vérbeli frontember - végigpörögte a koncertet, ugrált, hadbangelt, zúzott, közben meg hibátlanul énekelt - óriási hangulatot tudnak csinálni.

Beach House-t - szintén hibátlan volt, fülledt hangulat, tényleg igazi pálmafák alá való beach music, az emberek lassúztak ra kb :) nagyon jó volt
The xx - végtelenül precíz, nagyon profi, és nagyon súlyosan tudnak élőben megszólalni, annak ellenére, hogy mennyire kis prüntyögősek a számok. A sziget nagyszínpadán mondjuk nem tudnám elképzelni.
Delorean: hippi örömdiszkó, nem rossz, de langyi show.
Chrome Hoof: teljesen eklektikus, a funkytól a worldmusic-metálon át az elektródiszkóig, azonnal a Mr Bungle jutott eszembe, nem is áll messze http://www.myspace.com/chromehoof
The Big Pink: nekem kissé erőlködősnek tűnt a metálkodás élőben, de a sok sláger elviszi a show-t http://www.myspace.com/musicfromthebigpink
Ui: még egy zenekar, amit egyáltalán nem ismertem eddig, de ott ragadtunk a koncerten végig, zseniális volt! http://www.myspace.com/uiwasaband
Fuck Buttons: picit csalódás volt, talán mert szinte a felismerhetetlenségig variálják élőben a számokat - de azért így is hatalmas buli (ez is elképesztően hangos persze), megőrjítették rendesen azt a sokezer embert. Remekül kiváltaná a Prodigy-Chemical Brothers haknikat itthon, de persze úgysem lesz soha :)
Japandroids: a kétemberes bandák odabasznak. Ezek is leszaggatták a Pitchfork stage tetejét, óriási punkrokk-koncert, imádnivaló, rövid számokkal, félelmetesen jó dobossal.
Yeasayer: ez valahogy nem fogott meg. Látványosan meleg banda, túl sokat nyafogtak a számok között, affektálás, faszom.
Florence + The Machine: ezt tuti bedobják a magyar fesztivál-körforgásba jövőre - amúgy korrekt pop, borzasztóan meghatódott Florence-szal, mert hogy annyian szeretik őt.
Grizzly Bear: erről három szám után elmenekültünk, konkrétan hihetetlenül unalmas volt.
Polvo: old school, Sonic Youth bulikat idéző hangulatos jammelés, profi cucc http://www.myspace.com/polvotheband
The Antlers: élőben mindegyik számuknak eksztatikus véget gerjesztenek össze, hidegrázós, tökéletes. http://www.myspace.com/theantlers
The Drums: pozitív lötyögés volt, de nem sokat láttunk belőle, mert rohanni kellett valami sokkal fontosabbra :)
Matt & Kim: a legvidámabb koncert, amit láttam életemben - egyszerűen hihetetlen párocska. Volt minden, Daylight, YE YEAH, közönség-énekeltetés, dobon pózolás, crowdsurf, a "világ leggyorsabb száma kétszeres sebességgel előadva", Final Countdown cover, Alice Deejay cover, etc etc

(ezeken kívül volt még pár offtopik zenekar: pl a Pixies, akiknek a koncertje top5 mindenkoriba azonnal bekerült
Pet Shop Boys - aki teheti nézze meg BS-en, fergetegesen jó, igazi nagy show
Broken Social Scene, Mission Of Burma, Moderat (még mindig gyenge élőben), Pavement, Superchunk, Tortoise, Beak>, Black Math Horseman, Diplo, Major Lazer (ez ugyanaz, csak táncosokkal), Joker/Nomad, Marc Almond, Panda Bear, Wilco, Wire, Ben Frost, Boy 8-Bit, Gary Numan (hatalmas kakukktojás, szánalmas volt), Health, Lee "Scratch" Perry, The Charlatans, Black Lips, Orbital < The Field
