A Night Slugs olyan csodálatos utcai keverék, mintha Dr. Emmett Brown az időutazós Delorean helyett keresztezett volna egy játéktermi Space Invader automatát egy óriási neonzöld mélyládával. A Night Slugs klubestből kiadót alapító Bok Bok és L-Vis 1990, valamint a köréjük csoportosuló nemzetközi producergárda a mutáns zenéknek rendkívül kedvező korszellemet elkapva gyúrta egybe a "gettó" stílusokat a világ minden tájáról, a mostanában feltűnően sokak által emlegetett baltimore-i klubhangzással, meg mindenféle basszusközpontú irányzatokkal, és persze pumpáló négynegyeddel. Ebből a felszabadult "mindent lehet" hozzáállású, kicsit tapló, de nagyon táncos kavalkádból ad ízelítőt a júniusi Decknology esten a tavalyi év "bass himnuszát" (Wut) szállító Girl Unit és a Slugs egyik legjobb DJ-je, Mosca.
